A two-vehicle crash early this morning resulted in the death of one driver and serious injuries to the other in Lawrence.
Police responded to the area north of Lewisville Road at approximately 6:45 a.m., after multiple reports that there were two vehicles off the road.
Upon arrival, police found a small sedan that appears was traveling southbound while the pickup truck was heading northbound on Princeton Pike.
The unidentified driver of a vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to police.
The driver the pickup truck had to be removed from a vehicle and was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, with what police described as serious injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
