Mega Million Tickets Worth $25K Sold in Essex County

Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery executive director, announced that there were no Mega Millions game jackpot or second tier New Jersey prizewinners, but there were seven tickets sold that matched the four white balls and the Gold Mega Ball for the Tuesday, June 21 drawing winning the $5,000 third prize.

Two of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option making them worth $25,000 each.

The winning tickets were purchased at the following locations:

· Essex County: 7-Eleven #39713, 630 Bloomfield Ave., Bloomfield, $25,000 winner;

· Essex County: Deli Inc., 499-501 Frelinghuysen Ave., Newark, $25,000 winner;

· Mercer County: ACME #7914, 4400 South Broad St., Yardville;

· Middlesex County: Jamesburg Deli, 155 Gatzmar Ave., Jamesburg;

· Middlesex County: Nora’s Deli, 381 Avenel St., Avenel;

· Morris County: Powder Mart, 40 Gibraltar Dr., Morris Plains; and

· Union County: Wallis Stationary, 441 Park Ave., Scotch Plains.

In addition, 43 players’ tickets matched the four white balls winning $500 each.

Two of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, making them worth $2,500 each. Moreover, 212,587 other New Jersey players took home $406,715 in prizes ranging from $1 to $250, according to Hedinger.

“Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold all of those winning tickets,” said Hedinger. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.” The winning numbers for the Tuesday, June 21 drawing were: 06, 13, 21, 49 and 50. The Gold Mega Ball was 10, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 05.

The Mega Millions jackpot rolls to $363,000,000 for the next drawing, which will be held Friday, June 24 at 11:00 pm.

Powerball and Mega Millions drawings can be seen on WABC TV stations. Mega Millions tickets are sold in 46 participating jurisdictions. Drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
