In a startling incident today, a driver with a medical condition crashed her car into the 7-Eleven on Freeway Drive East before 8:30 a.m.
Promptly responding to the emergency, East Orange Firefighters and rescue crews arrived at the scene to find a GMC Suv lodged inside the store, having smashed through the front entrance glass.
According to East Orange officials, the driver suffered a medical episode before losing control of her vehicle.
Miraculously, no customers were harmed during this unexpected collision, and remarkably, the driver emerged from the incident unscathed.
The incident is under investigation.
