Old Bridge Police is investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident.
Officials said at approximately 2:30 a.m., a black 2019 Ford F250 pickup truck while traveling in the South Bound lanes of Route 35, struck the concrete divider at Laurence Parkway.
Police say the vehicle went airborne, rolled over and landed in the northbound lanes Rt. 35.
According to police, the driver – Mr. Juan Gonzalez Jr., 19, of Matawan was ejected from the vehicle.
Medical professionals pronounced Gonzalez dead at the scene.
Officials said NJ DOT responded to assist with the highway closure.
The Medical Examiner’s office responded to remove the body.
The crash remains under investigation.
