A vehicle that was reported stolen from a community in Passaic County was located in a section of East Orange Monday morning.
According to preliminary reports, officers from the Essex County Sheriff's Office on routine patrol located the white 2017 Maserati in the vicinity of 14 North 16th Street at approximately 5:22 a.m.
Police say the vehicle was reported stolen from North Haledon on Sunday.
No suspects were inside the vehicle, but police believe that the person responsible for stealing the car lives in that section of East Orange.
The investigation remains active.
