Ocean County authorities announced that on January 18, Harry Bray, Jr., 35, of Manchester, shall remain detained in the Ocean County Jail pending trial on the charge of Attempted Murder in connection with an incident that occurred on January 5 in Brick Township, resulting in serious bodily injuries to a female victim.
According to officials, the victim, who incurred severe injuries, was found on the ground near a vehicle suffering from multiple stab wounds while an officer with Brick Township was conducting a routine check on Cherry Quay Road.
Police say Bray, Jr., was later identified as the suspect and apprehended in early January.
Bray is also charged with Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
He has been lodged in the Ocean County Jail since his apprehension on January 5.
