There is no foul play suspected for two victims found dead inside a car in West Orange Saturday afternoon.
According to preliminary reports, police were called investigated suspicious activities around a vehicle on Mains Street and Llewelyn shortly before 3 p.m.
Units arrived and found an unconscious male and a female inside a truck at that location.
The pair were pronounced dead at the scene according to The Honorable West Orange Mayor Robert Parisi who immediately notified the public that the incident had no evidence of foul play.
The State Regional Medical Examiner removed the bodies from the vehicle and will conduct a toxicology test to determine the cause of death.
The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office was not immediately available for comment.
A drug overdose has not been confirmed but the mayor or ruled out at this time.
It is likely that the deceased pair were inside the vehicle during the overnight hours.
