Newark Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose is requesting the public’s help with identifying a suspect wanted for theft.
According to authorities, on May 30, at approximately 12:40 p.m., a male suspect stole a cash register from the Walgreen’s in the 300 block of Bergen Street.
Although police are actively searching for the suspect, with the public’s assistance we can reduce the time it takes to identify the suspect and quickly get him off the street.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
