Authorities in Newark reported that a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Mr. Anthony “Mario” Williams, 29, of Newark, in connection with a shooting that occurred on Friday, December 23.
According to Newark Police, at approximately 10:10 p.m., a woman was shot at in the 100 block of South 9th Street by a man she knows.
Police say no injuries have been reported as a result of this incident. Detectives investigating this incident have identified Anthony “Mario” Williams as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest on a charge of aggravated assault.
