Authorities are on the search for a man wanted for questioning for a theft that occurred in Newark's East Ward in late May.
Police say they want to talk to Mr. Jose Vasquez, 45, of Newark, for a burglary that occurred on Sunday, May 27th where the victim reported that someone entered his property located in the 100 block of Lentz Avenue and stole several power tools.
According to officials, 3rd Precinct detectives developed evidence identifying Vasquez as a possible suspect.
While detectives are actively searching for Vasquez, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating him.
The investigation is continuing.
