Police in Newark are seeking the public’s help in identifying a male suspect who they say is wanted for a robbery that occurred on Saturday, October 28th.
According to a statement released by Newark Police officials, at approximately 2 p.m., officers responded to a robbery call in the vicinity of Orange and 1st streets where they said a male suspect approached a victim and punched him, causing him to fall.
Police said when the victim fell to the ground, the suspect and three other men stole his cash and personal property.
The victim did not suffer life-threatening injuries police said.
