Firefighters were called to the area of Springfield and Elmwood to hose down a large amount of blood after a physical altercation had a male victim suffer a serious hand injury.
The altercation reportedly occurred at around 2:40 p.m. when two males began to engage in a physical altercation when one of the males swung at the other, striking the glass window of a business according to witnesses at the scene.
EMS immediately transported the injured male to the hospital where the extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.
A female -who witnesses said was attempting to break up the altercation- did not suffer any injuries.
An investigation is underway.
