Police in Newark are attempting to determine the location of a shooting that had a man enter a hospital in the city overnight.
The man was brought to the Beth Israel Hospital on Lyons Avenue by private vehicle at around 10:30 p.m. suffering an unspecified gunshot injury according to reports.
The extent of the victim's injuries have not been made public.
Authorities are determining where the man suffered his injury, but reports suggested that he could have travelled from another county to the Newark hospital.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
