A 30-year-old Linden man was transported to the hospital after he was struck by a vehicle this evening.
According to police, at approximately 6 p.m., a 30-year-old Linden man was struck by a vehicle on W. Edgar Rd near Linden Airport after he exited the car he was riding in and entered eastbound traffic.
The unidentified man was taken to University Hospital in Newark with what police described as non-life threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Linden Police Detective Bureau at (908) 474-8537.
