NJ State Police offcials are investigating a pedestrian strike that injured a man at a service station in Lacey Township.
According to preliminary reports, the victim was struck by a car in at the Forked River Service Station shortly before 9 p.m.
Police and EMS arrived at the scene and found the man suffering head and leg injuries according to authorities.
The victim was airlifted to Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment and remained in serious but stable condition.
The incident is under investigation.
