Police in Newark are on the search for the driver of a car that struck a senior man on an Ironbound Street Friday morning.
According to Newark Police, the incident happened at approximately 9:30 a.m. near the intersection of Lang Street and Wilson Avenue where EMS rushed a 60-year-old man to the hospital after a car struck him causing injuries.
Police said the vehicle immediately sped from the scene after striking the man.
The victim's injuries were not reported as life-threatening, and the incident remains under investigation.
