EMS rushed an East Rutherford Man to the hospital after the victim suffered stab wounds from a domestic violence incident on Sunday night.
Police responded to reports of an altercation at an address in the 70's block of Carlton Avenue shortly before 8 p.m.
According to reports, officers found a male suffering multiple stab wounds in his chest and another person injured after they were struck to the head with a frying pan.
The pair was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center while police investigated what caused the altercation.
No other injuries were reported.
