Authorities are investigating a stabbing that sent a 22-year-old man to an area hospital Thursday evening.
Officials say police responded to an apartment building on Lexington Avenue sometime around 11:30 p.m. for a report of stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers learned that an argument between the 22-year-old victim and another man escalated to the stabbing.
Police say the uncooperative victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where the pocket knife was removed from his right hand.
The incident remains under investigation.
No arrests were immediately made, police added.
