Police are investigating a strong-armed robbery reported on a Bloomfield street earlier today.
According to initial reports, a black male suspect who was dressed in all black, approached the victim on Beardsley Ave. at around 11:15 a.m.
The suspect demanded personal possessions before punching the victim in the face according to reports.
The bleeding victim was transported to an area hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries.
The incident is under investigation by the Bloomfield Police Department.
There were no arrests reported.
