A male victim was transported to an area hospital suffering non-life-threatening injuries after he said a suspect assaulted him at a restaurant in Roselle on Sunday morning.
Police were called to investigate reports of an injured male at the Central Park Restaurant located at 2401 North Wood Avenue around 2:45 a.m.
Upon arrival, police found the victim bleeding from his face at that location.
Police say the victim is expected to recover after the isolated attack. No arrests were immediately reported.
