Jersey City authorities are investigating a shooting incident that left a man seriously wounded Sunday.
The early morning shooting happened around 3 a.m. in the 300 block of Forest Street.
Units responded to reports of shots fired and when they arrived, police found several shell casings.
They were told that a male victim was transported by private vehicle to Jersey City Medical Center.
The victim suffered gunshot wounds to his leg and groin and is reportedly in serious condition.
Police announced no arrests in the shooting and no other victims were reported.
