A male gunshot victim was rushed to University Hospital early Thursday morning.
Police responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of 923 Frelinghuysen Avenue around 12:54 a.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a male suffering gunshot wounds.
The suspect fled the scene immediately after the shooting
The victim’s injuries are reportedly severe.
No arrests have been reported.
