A 62-year-old man attempting to cross the road was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle early Monday morning.
According to authorities, officers responded to the intersection of Franklin and Broad streets just before 6:30 a.m., where they found the injured victim.
Officials say the victim to transported to an area trauma center with serious injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
According to police, the driver, a 44-year-old Caldwell man, remained at the scene and has not been charged.
