A 27-year-old Haledon man called policed to report that he had been robbed by an individual he arranged to meet to purchase marijuana from Tuesday afternoon, police said.
According to police, the incident occurred Tuesday at approximately 2:55 p.m. between Wayne and Preakness avenues.
The suspect was allegedly in possession of a silver handgun when the suspect took the victim's cash and jewelry.
No physical injuries were immediately reported.
The incident remains under investigation.
