Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Acting Chief of Investigations Christoph Kimker, and Riverdale Borough Police Chief Kevin Smith announce and confirm an ongoing investigation into a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred in Riverdale.
According to police, at approximately 11:10 a.m. on today, law enforcement was alerted to a multi-vehicle motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 23 and Windbeam Road.
Police confirmed the fatality of one adult male.
Officials say, at this time, the identity of this individual will not be released.
The investigation remains ongoing and further information will not be released at this time.
