Authorities in Mercer County are investigating a shooting that left one man injured in Trenton on Sunday evening.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the area of 12 Bayard Street following reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, they discovered an unidentified male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Emergency responders transported the victim to Capital Health Medical Center, where he is expected to recover.
No arrests have been made in connection to the incident at this time.
The investigation remains active as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
