Newark authorities are investigating an altercation that left one man injured early this morning, according to Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda.The incident unfolded near South Orange Avenue and Grove Street.
Police were alerted to the situation around 3 a.m. when a man arrived at University Hospital seeking treatment for a hand laceration.
Investigators determined that the injury occurred during a confrontation with another male at the aforementioned location.
