Trenton Police are investigating a shooting near Tyler Avenue that left one man seriously injured Friday night, marking the second gun-related incident in the city that evening.
Authorities responded to reports of gunfire near the intersection of Pearl and Hudson streets.
When officers arrived, they located several shell casings at the scene along with a male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound to the thigh.
The victim was quickly transported to the regional medical center, where he remains in serious condition, according to officials.
The suspect involved fled the scene and remains at large.
Investigators are working to determine a motive and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
