Authorities in Hudson County are looking into the cause of a crash that severely injured a person riding a scooter in Hoboken late Tuesday night.
Police say just before midnight, emergency responders rushed to the intersection of Clinton and 2nd streets to investigate reports of a pedestrian strike.
Upon arrival, police and EMS found the victim ejected from a scooter after a collision involving a vehicle near the intersection.
Police say the unidentified person suffered life-threatening injuries.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office has been notified of the incident and no other injuries were reported.
