Newark Police officials are looking into a stabbing that incident that left a male injured in the city on Sunday evening.
According to police, the incident occurred in the 500 block of Market Street just before midnight where officers found the male victim bleeding heavily after suffering a non-life threatening stab injury to his arm at that location.
The victim was transported to the University Hospital where doctors treated the injury according to officials.
The motive for the attack is under investigation by police and no arrests have been reported.
