Jersey City authorities are looking into a stabbing incident that left a man seriously injuries this morning -Saturday-.
According to a brief statement released by city spokeswoman Kim Wallace Scalcione, at approximately 6:15 a.m., Jersey City Police officers responded to Florence and Bright Streets after receiving reports of a fight between unidentified parties.
Spokeswoman Walker-Scalcione said upon officer’s arrival, they found a 26-year-old male suffering stab injuries at that location.
EMS rushed the victim to a local hospital where doctors began treating no puncture stab wounds Walker-Scalcione said.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation.
Spokeswoman Walker-Scalcione did not report any arrests.
