Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Perth Amboy Chief of Police Lawrence Cattano announced that on April 1st, 2022, a Perth Amboy man was found in his apartment with multiple stab wounds and pronounced dead on scene.
Police said the victim, Mr. Barry Idesis, was found in his residence by his father, who then called 911 to alert the police.
An investigation by Detective Linda Infusino of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and Detective Jeremy Harris of the Perth Amboy Police Department determined that the victim was last seen entering his apartment building on Mechanic Street in the hours of the early evening on Wednesday, March 30th, 2022.
The investigation is ongoing.
