In Warren County, police officials are investigating a shooting incident that left a male victim dead at a location in Blairstown.
According to reports, at approximately 9:40 p.m., police responded to an address on Alexander Lane to investigate reports of an injured person.
Upon arrival, police requested a crime scene after finding the victim suffering a gunshot wound in his head at that location. The unidentified male was pronounced dead the at the scene by medical personnel, according to preliminary reports.
Police believe that the incident was self-inflicted and they are continuing to investigate.
There were no other injuries reported.
