A man found dead inside a basement of a house in Paterson has authorities investigating.
Police were called to the 50's block of East 16th Street for reports of suspicious activities shortly before 6:30 a.m. where arriving units reportedly located the male victim unconscious and unresponsive, bleeding heavily from an unspecified injury according to reports.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene reports said.
The identity of the victim and the nature behind his injuries have not been released at this time.
Detectives were on the scene investigating.
There were no immediate reports of arrests.
