The victim of a dog attack suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries at a location in Newark overnight.
According to police, the incident happened in the 100 block of South 11th Street shorting before 1 a.m.
Police say emergency responders arrived to find the victim suffering bite wounds in his hands and arm when the pit bull began to attack the male for an unknown reason.
The unidentified male was transported to University Hospital for treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.
Police are investigating the incident.
