Man Arrives at Hospital after Plainfield Shooting

An investigation into a shooting that left a man injured is underway in Plainfield.

According to authorities, at around 4:30 p.m. this evening, Plainfield Police Central Communications received a 9-1-1 call in reference to shots fired in the 1200 block of West 3rd Street.

While police were checking the area, JFK Satellite Emergency Department, called and stated that a gunshot victim had just come into their emergency room.

Police responded and located a 32-year-old male with a non life threatening injury.
