A 39-year-old Elizabeth man who refused to stop after allegedly traveling at a high of speed was arrested last week.
According to authorities, on March 13th at approximately 1:39 a.m. police observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and attempted to stop the driver.
Officials say the driver refused to stop and reportedly attempted to elude the officer.
Authorities say the suspect finally stopped in the area of Trumbull and Court streets.
Police ultimately arrested Eduardo Morales, of Elizabeth, on eluding charges.
The incident remains under investigation.
