NEWARK NJ: A late night physical struggle with a man who was believed to have been carrying a firearm had police request back-up in the 400 block of North 7th Street at around 9:40 p.m.
Police attempted to place the man under arrest when he reportedly began to struggle and fight officers according to reports.
The man was subdued and arrested after officers reportedly located an imitation gun.
There were no reported injuries to officers.
