Police in Newark are on the search for a suspect wanted for a commercial armed robbery on Wednesday evening.
According to police, at approximately 7:40 p.m., a male suspect entered the Family Dollar store located in the 100 block of 7th Avenue and demanded cash from employees while threatening them with a broken bottle.
Police say the 5'10" tall 160-pound man wore a grey cap, blue shorts, a red shirt, and white shoes.
There were no physical injuries reported.
