Police reported non-fatal injuries in an early morning aggravated assault stabbing in Jersey City.
Officers responded to reports of an injured person in the 100 block of Bergen Avenue shortly before 12:55 a.m.
Police and EMS arrived and found a male suffering stab wounds in his back and names at that location.
According to preliminary information, the victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment then listed in stable condition.
The motive for the attack is under investigation and police have reported no arrests.
