There were non-life threatening injuries reported for a male found shots in Newark's West Ward Sunday night.
Police responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of 480 South 14th Street around 11 p.m.
Officers arrived and found a male victim suffering a bullet wound in his arm at that location.
The victim was rushed to University Hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
Police collected evidence at the scene, but the suspect fled and was not apprehended.
The motive for the shootings is under investigation.
