Passaic County officials announced that at approximately 10:20 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Pennington Street and Market Street on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival members of the Paterson Police Department located evidence of a crime scene and a 21-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
