Union County authorities are looking into a shooting that reportedly left one person dead at a housing complex in Elizabeth.
According to preliminary reports, gunfire erupted in the teens block of Mravlag Manor where police arrived at the scene and found the unidentified, unconscious and unresponsive victims suffering apparent gunshot wounds in a play area of the complex.
Police taped off the area as they collected evidence while medical personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation and no arrests have been reported.
