Hudson County authorities are looking into the details of a violent aggravated assault incident that occurred in Jersey City early Friday morning, leaving one individual in critical condition.
Responding to a distress call, police units hurried to a residence in the 80's block of Stevens Avenue amid reports of an ongoing stabbing.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered an unidentified male unresponsive and suffering from a severe stab wound to his head.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were immediately summoned to the scene, and the victim was swiftly transported to Jersey City Medical Center for urgent care.
As the victim receives treatment, the motive behind this brutal attack remains a focal point of the active and ongoing investigation.
