Police detained several suspects believed involved in a shots-fired incident that caused injuries in Jersey City Saturday morning.
Officials at Jersey City Medical Center notified police when a male gunshot victim was dropped off in the emergency room around 1:30 a.m.
The victim told police that he suffered his injuries when suspects fired at him in the vicinity of Martin Luther King Drive and Armstrong Avenue.
Police found the vehicle used to transport the victim to the hospital and held it for the investigation.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation at this time.
