Authorities in Jersey City are investigating a shooting that injured a male in a section of the city Friday evening.
Just before 9 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the 20's block of Wade Street.
Upon arrival, units found the unidentified victim suffering bullet wounds in his ankle and hand, according to reports.
The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and is expected to recover.
Police have not released a motive for the shooting at this time.
