Police reported non-fatal injuries for a male found suffering a stab injury in a section of Newark Sunday night.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to reports of an injured person near the intersection of 14th Avenue and South 14th Street just before 10:45 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene and found the unidentified male suffering a stab injury, but no others were injured.
The victim was treated for the injury while police investigated the motive for the incident.
No arrests have been reported.
