Police in Newark are investigating the motive behind a stabbing incident in a section of Newark Sunday.
Police and EMS responded to reports of an injured person in the 100 block of 7th Avenue around 1:37 a.m.
Units found a male victim suffering a stab wound to his stomach upon arrival.
The victim was transported to University Hospital for treatment and remained stable.
No arrests have been reported.
