Authorities in Camden County are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning inside a senior living building in Haddon Township.
Police responded to the Rohrer Tower Senior Living building, located in the 300 block of West Crystal Lake Avenue, following reports of gunfire inside the facility at around 1:20 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers were directed to the building’s eighth floor, where they discovered a man in his 40s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was transported to Cooper University Medical Center with severe, life-threatening injuries.
Whether the man was a resident or a visitor at the senior building remains unclear.
The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office has been notified, and investigators are working to understand the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
As of early Sunday morning, no arrests have been reported, and the investigation remains active.
