The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Cresskill Police Department are investigating a shooting that occurred at 10 Center Street, Cresskill, on Thursday.
According to a statement released by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, at approximately 8:00 p.m. this evening, the Cresskill Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting a disturbance at that address and a report that there were multiple people on the scene with weapons.
Responding officers found a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
Officials said the victim was transported to an area hospital where he is being treated.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office is conducting an investigation under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Cresskill Police Department under the direction of Deputy Chief James Domville.
The investigation remains active.
